INSTRUCTIONS
Join us to view The West Oakland Stores film in Black History Month February 22, 2022 in recognition of our Oakland Black history by viewing this Authentic Film featuring Oakland’s own pioneering elders who were living, creating, and developing the building blocks of the city of Oakland during the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
Everyone is the real thing in this film. The people you’ll see are people who lived this history of Oakland. No more letting people tell our story. https://youtu.be/ZMYVdIlYUhs (WOSPFM FILM LINK)
Here are your instructions:
POST on Facebook once every week up to the viewing day to your friends these instructions and ask them to SHARE, LIKE this message below.
VIEW ON LAST TUESDAY OF EVERY BLACK HISTORY Month WITH YOUR FAMILY and FRIENDS.
We invite you, wherever you may be in the world, to join in with us. Please make your positive comments and connect with your fellow community members in the Comments Section.
And, as always, please remember to practice “NO NEGATIVE SPEAK” with each other.
Keep track of the people that respond to your request so that you can remind them again to view the film on the last Tuesday of Black History Month.
